Contracts are a third-party extract of the DPWH transparency portal (248,220 rows,
file dated 2 Sep 2026), not an official download, and DPWH figures are under active
revision. Amounts are money committed (most likely the awarded amount), not
disbursed: the portal's payments column is empty.
Sites come from each contract's own coordinate. 13.5% of contracts have none and are
counted in their province through the implementing office but not drawn; six
coordinates shared by three or more offices were office addresses stamped in place of
the site and were discarded.
“Contract end date” is mostly the date written into the contract, not an observed
finish, so contract periods show what DPWH specified, not how long work took.
Boundaries are the 2023 PSGC edition: Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental and Siquijor
stay in Regions VI and VII rather than the 2024 Negros Island Region. Highly urbanised
cities are folded into their provinces; Metro Manila is one unit.
Only national DPWH contracts. Work funded by LGUs, other agencies, PPPs or the BARMM
government's own ministry is not here.
